This is the journey of my son, Fox. He was born with a large haemangioma to his right side. I created this blog to help other people going through the same thing and also to urge any parent, if they feel it is necessary, to always try and get the best medical attention they can for their baby while he or she is still young. If you're not happy with what you're hearing, don't be afraid to ask for a second opinion.

How Hes Doing
I'm in the process of trying to put an up to date slide show of his recent photos on Youtube, here they are below (except a bit cut off!) Hes absolutly fine and been enjoying his life as normal :o)
I feel for you guys, but I am pleased that Fox is making progress. My son also suffered an ulcerated haemangimoa 9cmx5 on his left shoulder and arm in 1983 aged 3 months old, we saw many doctors all of whom had never seen anything like it before, then they called plastic surgeon Mr Michael Brough, he successfully treated the ulceration which took a year to heal. He remained a patient of Mr Brough until he was 16, he was offered surgery to make smaller the scarring but choose not to. He is now 27 and never had any further complications. In 1983 and on each subsiquent visit a photograph was taken by the hospital to inform text books of the complications. We wish you both and Fox every happiness for the future
what an amazing journey! fox has been such a brave boy.
